Patient TeachingI instructed the patient and the patients family on what medications were prescribed during discharge instructions as well.
These instructions helped the family and patient know what medications should be taken when at home.

This
course has prepared me when working with children of all ages and with
their families. I learned a great amount about communication with family
members, and explaining instructions to children. I also, gained
experience in working with an interdisciplinary team, by rounding with
the physician, residents, child life specialist, and nurses.
